Strange button appearing on testimonial archive page
-
Hi
I have created a website with a range of testimonials, which display very well in my chosen theme (Vision). However there is a strange button or label on the testimonial archive page (http://ianjohnstone.com/testimonial/) labelled “Testimonials” with a refresh symbol. Can anyone please tell me why this is appearing and how it might be removed?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I think this may be caused by the extra div tags you have in this Testimonial:
https://johnianstone.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=135&action=edit
If you move over to the Text editor you’ll see three divs. Remove all of those at the top and bottom of the post and update.
Let me know if that doesn’t fix this!

Hi Shawna,
Thanks for this but I’ve removed the tags and I’m afraid the button remains. It’s strange as when I first loaded he testimonials it wasn’t there. Any other ideas?
Thanks again, Ian -
Thanks for doing that! It looks like theres’a bug here. I’ve reported it to our theme devs and I’ll let you know as soon as we’ve got a fix for it.
In the meantime, there are two ways to fix this:
1. Hide the Twitter widget on your Testimonials page. You can do this Widget Visibility:
2. Increase the number of Testimonials on a page so that they can all appear without needing a ‘load more’ button. You can change this number in Settings > Writing:

Let me know if I can help further!

Thanks for this Shawna. I have tried both of the fixes you have suggested and unfortunately they do not work – the button still appears. I guess I will just have to wait for the bug fix! Do please let me know when this is available.
Thanks again, Ian
