Strange comments behaviour

  For my recent posts I get pending comments in my dashboard. This is not regular, for NOBODY actually commented anything in reply to my post.
  It just happens that some pieces of text appear as comments in the dashboard, and there are even multiple comments for the same post, for the same line of text.
  There is definetely something bugged in WordPress.com dashboard.

  Those are Pingbacks. They happen when you, or someone else, links to a particular post on your blog.
