Strange Dots in my theme

Can someone help me find out why I have some strange bullets/dots appearing on my blog?
There is one in the title and several next to some of my widgets (right hand side, down the bottom of page)
I am using the Garland theme and they have just appeared today. -

I’m using IE7. I’ve just double checked and logged out, gone back in and they are still there… this is bizarre!
I will try closing IE7 completely and restarting. Back in a min.

If you’re talking about the bullets in the bottom widgets, they’re a design element, although they’re clear or white in the test blog I tried your theme in.

Thanks ellaella, in my browser they are black though, and there is another one in the top frame above the animated librarian. I have attempted to do a screen capture and put it in a post, but it’s not very clear. On my screen it isn’t fuzzy but a very clear and distinct black dot.
I shut down IE7 completely and cleared my cache, but they are still there…
Well I guess if noone else can see them it really doesn’t matter, just a bizarre thing that only happened this afternoon.

I see them as black on your blog but they were not black on my test blog. They seem to be bullet points for an unordered list, which is how it would work in your sidebar. Did it happen when you put in the link that’s just showing as the link text?

Thank you to everyone who had a look at my blog!!! I have now fixed the problem by undoing all the editing I did earlier and redoing it all, and now those annoying dots have gone!
