strange links from site

    On my stats page in the “click” box it shows some links where people have supposedly clicked on from my site. There are two links here which are not from my site.

    I also noticed that in the referrers box it shows a grayed out link from WordPress dashboard. This has never been seen before.

    Are WordPress having problems accurately reporting links?

    Hello there,
    If you have the “possibly related links” extra activated then that could explain the clicks you describe in your first sentence. To check > Appearance > Extras
    look for
    __ Hide related links on this blog, which means this blog won’t show up on other blogs or get traffic that way

    If you do not gave “possibly related links” activated then the links in question could be advertsising links as WordPress.com does run ads on our blogs.

    I’m not clear on why your Referrers box would be grayed out. Mine is working so I suggest that you contact Staff. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
