strange little town how to reverse customization
-
I customized Strange Little Town just playing around with colours in the background and font. I have now lost all the things I loved about the theme in the first place i.e. the stars and the buildings! Is there any way to reverse this? I keep loading different themes and going back to SLT hoping that if I activate it again it will go back to its original state but no luck. Is customizing impossible to reverse?

In Appearance>Background, when you reset the background color to default by clicking the “default” link, the background image should reappear. Make sure to save the change.

I’m sorry, I’ve just noticed that you’ve posted this in the CSS Customization forum, but it doesn’t seem that you have the Custom Design upgrade?

No, I don’t! That’s the weird thing. I was just using the customizer not the custom design so I thought it would be reversible. Seems I’m stuck with it…thanks though.

justjennifer thank you! I tried your suggestion and it worked! I am a very happy bunny. You’re a genius! :)

If you can access the CSS editor then, to ‘reset’ a theme, you need to delete the CSS in the Editor, make sure the “add to existing CSS” radio button is checked, then save. Things should go back to normal.
