strange mix up with WP

  I was having trouble logging into my WP install on my website so I decided to reinstall it since it would not update anyway.

  I reinstall and it shows this link:
  http://www.unitedflight93.com/wp3/wp-admin/

  But when I click on it, it goes here:
  http://unitedflight93.wordpress.com/wp3/wp-admin/

  and says there is no such page.

  So I deleted my wp.com site in hopes that it will fix the problem.
  Even when I copied the URL text and pasted it into the address bar, it still went to the wp.com site, rather than my website.

  Any thoughts on why this happened?
  I am still waiting for things to correct, because

  http://unitedflight93.wordpress.com/

  still appears to be up, because I had it set to go to my own site, and it is still forwording to my site.

  Now it is saying that unitedflight93.wordpress.com is no logner available when I click on http://www.unitedflight93.com/wp3/wp-admin/

  http://unitedflight93.wordpress.com/ is still up, and the domain points to that blog. You have to change where the nameservers point and point it to your new install. You can’t delete the old WP.com blog until you have moved the domain name.

  I directed it to http://www.unitedflight93.com but now that it is deleted I can do nothing. But that is not the problem.

  Did you complete the deletion of http://unitedflight93.wordpress.com/ by confirming the action with the link sent to your email address?

  http://unitedflight93.com/ – is alive and well – why you get the deleted message for the strange page is a mystery – but your site is up and alive

  Do you want the domain to point to your WP.com blog, or do you want it to point to your webspace hosted elsewhere?

  okmike77 said he deleted the wp.com website, not http://unitedflight93.com/. The issue occurred on logging into the latter. He was getting redirected to website that wasn’t recognized

  the name servers for unitedflight93.com/ point to WordPress.COM – but if they reinstalled the WordPress software then they are not hosted here they are somewhere else – and the path w.unitedflight93.com/wp3/wp-admin/ is typical of a WordPress.ORG install –

  so things are a bit confused and they might be trying for a self hosted site – but the name servers indicate they are still here and they should not have been able to set up and get to work a path like w.unitedflight93.com/wp3/wp-admin/

  so we are sort of guessing without a bit more info

  No I don’t want the name servers to point to the blog, they do not. The blog did point to my .com website until I deleted the WP blog.

  At no time should the new install of WP on my website go to the wp.com site, but that is what is happening.

  WP needs to look into this.

  nothing for WP to look into – your domain name unitedflight93.com is not registered here – only you can change the name servers – the staff here can’t change your name servers

  There is the problem, I never put my names servers to wp.com,

  I pay for reseller hosting and can host all my websites for one price.

  At least I got this fixed, and means someone hacked my account at my name purchaser.
