Strange "My Site" Link Error

    Hello, as of today (early this morning), every time I try to access the “My Sites” link, the page would load for a long time and then give me an error message saying “We’re sorry, but an unexpected error has occurred”

    I also noticed that upon clicking the “My Sites” link, the URL would change to “https://wordpress.com/home/aktionkilla.wordpress.com?retry=1”

    If I click on Bookmarked links to different areas of my website, they will load up well, but from the time I click on the “My Sites” link, it will fail to load and I would receive the error message.

    I switched to a different browser to see if it was a browser issue but I am experiencing the same error in different browsers as well.

    Sorry to hear it! Have you made any recent adjustments to the computer — maybe a new software update?

    I’ve tested your account and confirmed the account itself is alright. If possible, can you try accessing from another device / internet connection, such as a smart phone?

    Thanks a ton for getting back to me.

    To my recollection, I have not made any changes to my site outside formatting individual Posts or Pages, which is something I do frequently. I had noticed at one point that the times on my site were displayed incorrectly, for example, a post that was made only a few seconds ago would be shown as being posted “1 hour ago” lol. So I went into the settings within the Admin Dashboard to see if the time settings were changed, but everything was how I left it, so I didn’t make any changes in that department.

    But I am happy to report that I checked my website moments ago and the matter seems to be resolved because I am able to enter into the My Sites page via the My Sites link without any error, which i was unable to do before, so just in case you all may have done anything, I would like to thank you.

    @ smithgenealogy: it’s interesting to see that I was not the only one having that issue and I am glad to know that the matter has been resolved on your end as will 👍👍.
