Strange outlook followers

  Hi,
  I’m getting emails saying several strange sounding outlook followers are following my blog. But then when I check my followers on wordpress they are not there. Can anyone help? My blog is talking about mental health issues and I really want to connect with genuine followers.

  This a known issue and Staff removes those fake followers. For the most recent info, https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/email-followers-not-showing-up-in-site-stats/
