strange things poping up

  Hi,

  I don’t know what’s up with wordpress.com, first they don’t say that they put google adsense and make profit with MY CONTENT then there is the related links that are enable by default and i need to go throw the settings.

  Now this is appearing and i want it out…

  You agreed to the ads in the Terms of Service that you agreed to, does not matter if you did not bother to read it or not, the ads are in the TOS. That is part of how WordPress.COM pays the bills to give you a blog that you get for free. Just how did you expect WordPress.COM to pay for the free blog you have?

  If you don’t like the ads you can buy the no ads upgrade for $ 30– a year to get rid of the ads.

  The details are in the fine print – not all that fine here actually – fairly straight forward as I remember (I did read the TOS before moving ) – I have seen that the ads have been on the site since 2006. I do have the no ad upgrade and the cost is still way less than my old hosting cost, so I look on the whole thing here as a great bargain.
