Strange Timestamp

  Why is there a long string for my time stamp? I want a simple time and date… not all the stuff before and behind it.

  It’s on the “Leave Comment” section by the blog title and on my Calendar Widget. I want to get rid of it and I can’t find any information that shows me how to clean that up.

  Hey there!

  That timestamp which is appearing in your blog is actually something which you set in your blog’s Dashboard in the Settings >> General area. You are able to set the format for your time and date format, but you have to do so using a very specific set of codes. What you entered was the format in plain English that you wanted (which is totally logical!), but that ends up displaying the gibberish which is showing up now.

  You’ve got two options: You can select one of the preformatted options which are given in your Settings area, or alternatively you can review this help article:

  And try formatting your time and date stamp that you wanted using the right code!
