Strava widget

  Hello there
  I woul like to place Strava widget on my blog, but I have no idea how to do It. I’ve tried with text-widget, but It shows a link i pastę there.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry, i’ve pressed “submit”. So it shows link I’ve past there. I’d like it to look like the Strava site shows, a functional widget with my results, and linking to Strava site. If anybody has an idea, please help. Thank you.

  well, that is not what I ment. I’ve read this article before and in one of the comments there is a solution that I’m interested in https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-strava/ but it seems to be for premium users or publishers using external servers. I do not, I use free version of wordpress.com.
  What I’ve meant exactly was to place strava self-updating widget that is available on strava.com site as a link to be pasted in my blog.

  I’m interested in this also. I simply want to add a Strava badge with code embedded that will take someone to my Strava profile. Strava provides the badges and codes. It would be the same as a social network widget that takes you to FaceBook or Instagram.

  Looking at the blog post that @alanthompson64 pointed to, it looks as if the Strava code uses iframes, which is not possible to use on WordPressdotcom sites. https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  If this is a deal breaker for you, you might wish to consider moving your site to 3rd party hosting using the standalone WP software.

  Regardless, I’ve tagged this for Staff to note your requests to add Strava to WordPressdotcom.

  Hi there,

  As @justjennifer said, that widget cannot be used here as they use code that’s not allowed on WordPress.com. The WordPress plugin they have is only for self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. There is no upgrade on WordPress.com that will allow you to use that here.

  But I have added this to our feature request list so we can look at the possibility of adding it in future.
