Streaming direct audio

  I am currently looking to make a website which is for my group as we have a band. i have discovered on some wordpress sites that it is possible to stream music from wordpress instead of directing you to a whole new website

  For example:: http://download.desidrop.com/?link=http://mp3zee.com/bv8gw8vhg5t3
  You are able to listen directly.

  Does this require a certain plug in?

  The blog linked to your username is a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them The plugins found on the internet are for wordpress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  You can’t add plugins to a WordPress.COM blog; only to a WordPress.ORG blog. They are quite different.

  I’m not aware of anything which allows you to livestream in a WordPress.com blog at the moment, but you can always look over on http://wpbtips.wordpress.com because he’s got the best info about what’s embeddable and what’s not.
