Streaming Music
-
Hi, I’m about to ‘launch’ this site with an embedded music player streaming my internet radio station. To figure it out, I put up my Spotify playlist in place of the radio player that will stream the station. I noticed when switching pages on the site that the widget area refreshes, too, and that won’t be good for streaming. Is there a way around this, or a better place to put that player so that it will be on and able to stream fluidly without interruption from switching pages? Or should I just put all of my content on one page? Thanks in advance.

Hey there, I can’t think of a great way to keep the player going from page to page. Depending on how much content you’ve got, though, a one-page might make sense, possibly with jump links and deeper links to full articles if you blog. I’d just consider limiting gallery display on the front page if you do that.
Here’s how to do jump links:

Yeah, I found out that the service I’ll be using has a pop up player to embed on sites, so the pages refreshing isn’t an issue now. Thanks for your help!
