  Hello,

  I’d like to add an audio streaming player to my blog. Basically, I’d like to create a kind of home made web radio from my wordpress blog. Not playing songs already loaded into my library but a link to an url that would stream audio.

  Is that possible ?

  More informations:

  what I need is to play audio from my main page, not from a post. Haven’t found the correct way to do it yet.
  Then, I try to embed audio inside a post like it is explained in the support page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/

  I used the shortcode audio with the address inside but it doesn’t work.
  I use Firefox 35.

  Any help ?

  Could you give me the URL of the audio you’re trying to stream? I can take a look at why it’s not embedding properly in your main page.

  Hi thatrobyn,

  thanks for your help. Actually, I succeeded to embed it in a draft post after discovering the URL was wrong. But it is not my goal. I’d like to do it from the main page and I have no ideas how do it in my wordpress blog.
  I can make a “song list” but I donno how to include an URL in it.

  Hi there!

  I see that you added a shortcode song list into your sidebar. It seems to be playing successfully. You can create the same type of shortcode for another playlist and paste it into your main page.

  You can also open up a NewTest Page:
  https://wordpress.com/page

  Click your cursor into the content box.

  Then, click the Add Media Button.

  Underneath Insert Media, click Create Audio Playlist. Upload and/or Add all the sounds files you want in your playlist. Then, click Create New Playlist.

  Please let me know how this works for you.

  You can also create a playlist at Soundcloud or Audiomack and add it into your WordPress.com post or page:

  Great news, it works :)

  Now, I was wandering if it would be possible to do it from the main page. I wish I would be able to embed an URL inside the song list added into my sidebar but didn’t find the way to achieve this.

  I took a look at your site and it appears that you’ve placed a songlist in your sidebar. Did you figure out an answer to your own question? Or do you still need a hand? Let me know!
