Stretch feature image to fit 2017 theme
-
Is there any way to stretch the featured image to fit the full width for the 2017 theme? I have hundreds of posts / pages from a different theme that now don’t fit, and I’m hoping I can make them fill the white space.
thanks!

Hi, @rajnikur –
It looks like the featured image size in 2017 theme is 2000px wide by 1200px high.
(See this website – codex.wordpress.org/twenty_seventeen)
If you can download the images from your site (or if you have them saved outside of your site already), then I’d just change the size using a photo editor or MS Paint.
In Paint (my personal preference) – open up the photo, and select “resize”, under the “crop” button. There is an option to resize by Pixels. You’ll probably have to de-select “Maintain aspect ratio” – then type in 2000 x 1200 pixels. Sometimes I have to crop first so that the stretching isn’t as obvious. :)Hope this helps!

Thanks @juliannekb, I have too many images to do that for each one, I was hoping to use some CSS to do it. Is there any code that would work?
