Strike through text

  I must be an idiot. I have been searching all over the place on how I can strike text on my blog.

  In both the visual editor and the html editor I have tried the following:

  <strike>my smaple text</strike>

  <s>my sample text</s>

  <del>my sample text</del>

  Neither work what am i doing wrong?

  Highlight the text you want to strike in your HTML editor.

  Then go up to the top edit bar and click on the del button.

  Save the post.

  @dirkdallas: What are you doing wrong? No idea – all three versions give me strikethrough text in my test blog (in the html editor, of course; these things have no place in the visual editor).

  @beemeister: Same thing with the third button in the visual editor.

  Also (in html):

  <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">TEXT_HERE</span>

  Sure! Play around with all those buttons. For instance, lookup looks up a word in an online dictionary.

  panaghiotisadam, right. I know he had the right codes…but why they did not work? I don’t know…
