Stripe is enabled, but a SSL certificate is not detected. SSL is enabled & verified by Host.

Hi, the above error appears in my wordpress dashboard, full message is: ‘Stripe is enabled, but a SSL certificate is not detected. Your checkout may not be secure! Please ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate’
I have verified that that the SSL certificate is active and enabled correctly. Should I ignore this warning and attempt a transaction anyway? -
Hi lbfleming,
You sound to have a self-hosted WordPress website. Please share the link to the website you want help with.

Thankyou for your reply.
The site is: https://drescott.com.au/
I may have caused the problem by initially connecting to Stripe with a test connection. I have since changed it to a live connection but still see the warming message in my dashboard.Brent

Hi,
It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider. I would suggest contacting your hosting provider about this.
Hope this gets fixed soon!

Hi there,
Please contact the developer of the Stripe plugin you’re using on your site directly. If you’re using Stripe with WooCommerce, you can contact WooCommerce support here:
https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/
We can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com in this forum, and we can’t help with the open source WordPress software, or specific plugins for that software, here.
