Stripe Support emailed me: ‘Regarding how you can remove the current buy button on your website and replace it with four credit-card logos instead. Since you mentioned that you’re using WordPress for your website, I would recommend reaching out to them as they’re the ones who have access to your website’s backend coding and they’ll be the best resource to help you with this.’

Please click on the site’s “Pay” button (on the site’s home page).

You then come to the PayPal garbage that my developer had placed there.

Please replace that by a simple form so that the customer (who wants to pay $5 so as to download my pdf book) will be able to enter his/her credit-card info and hit “Pay” and get a receipt.

    I don’t need anything more.

Maybe screen-share with me on Skype to tell me what to do to achieve this.

  • Hi @cettel22, would you share a link to the affected site? Bear in mind we’re able to help with site hosted here on our services, but the site you’ve shared does not have a pay link.

Also if you do want a service to take care of site development for you, we recommend we currently recommend this resource.

Here was my last email to Stripe support:

PS: Here is the current state of my “Buy” webpage:
    https://xnvr.us/downloads/americas-empire-of-evil/

How can I eliminate what is there (which had been set up by a web-developer who turned out to be working with Shopify) and replace all that with just the four credit-card logos to click onto for buying the download?

I also need an invoice/ receipt to be printed there (and maybe emailed to me), as soon as the download has finished.

Then I’ll be set up for business!
