Stripe WordPress Plugin Doesn’t Register 100% Coupons As Orders On Stripe
-
Hi, I’ve recently tested the Stripe and WordPress plugin integration and found one issue.
If a customer uses a 100% coupon code then they appear as an ‘order’ in the wordpress/stripe dashboard, but this info doesn’t get transferred to stripe.
On the otherhand, if a customer pays then they are counted in both wordpress and stripe dashboards.
I contacted Stripe and here’s what they said:
‘I was inspecting your account, however there is not signals for both transactions of 100% discount but not even an attempt on the logs like the successful one transaction for payment.
Perhaps the system won’t process it as a transaction since it does not have money involved, I was taking a look into different WordPress documents and forums however I’m not clear if this is normal to happen on the WordPress integration with Stripe, in this case perhaps they can clarify this to you.’
Is there any way 100% coupon orders can still be counted registered on the stripe dashboard?

Please contact support for the specific Stripe plugin you’re using for help with this. Or if it’s a Stripe payment gateway plugin for a specific ecommerce platform, contact support for that ecommerce plugin instead.
