Stripped code
-
Hi, I’m trying to add some badges and an amazon widget using code they generated for me but it keeps getting stripped. I’m assuming it is code wordpress doesn’t allow. How can I change it so it’s allowed?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You’re not allowed to use javascript or flash here, and there are restrictions on the type of amazon widgets you can use, too, as advertising isn’t allowed. You might want to look at this thread and the links that Timethief gives in it:

Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.com

If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising and/or affiliate links you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
