"strong" tags in source code
-
Hey, I got a ton of “strong” texts added automatically by wordpress in a lot of my sites, is there any way to get a clean HTML? Here is one example:
<strong>03/2014 <strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><img style="border: 0 none; padding: 0;" title="Upcoming Report" src="http://chrisontour84.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/uc.gif" alt="" width="18" height="12" /></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong> <strong>Iceland </strong>Roadtrip around the country to hopefully see the Northern Lights, dive between continents and just enjoy the beautiful landscape over there. Also, this page for example shows up okay in Chrome but in Firefox, some of the fonts are printed in bold – any idea why?

Don’t copy/paste from Word or elsewhere on the web. If you must do it, click the Clipboard icon to make pastes plain text only.

Yes I know about that and always tried to not do it. Cant be 100% it never happened now though.. any way to clean it up again?

On the Settings->Writing page, select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML” and save. Then go to the dashboard Posts page and select all using the Bulk Editor. Set them to Private. Then set them to public again. That should do it.
If it doesn’t fix it, you have an unclosed STRONG tag in a text widget. So check your widgets.
