structure by organic themes – revolve the header

I know that this is asking the impossible – but that’s what you blokes do all the time – but how good would it be to have the header pic and post name programmed to turn over 1st post to last post every (say) 4 hours – that way the page renews its look automatically and expose readers to posts that they may not necessarily read before – I’m doing it manually about three times a day and the number reflect good interest.

It is a very good theme

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Peter, how exactly are you doing this post rotation?

I’ve created a category called ‘ the banner ‘ and I’ll pick a post and categorise it as such, there is always just the one post in this category (this is the rule)

    – this means that the top feature only has a choice of one when I go into themes and choose the category ‘ the banner ‘ as the one the theme uses as the latest post for the header post

    – after a couple of hours I’ll edit the post, delete it from the ‘ banner ‘ category and do it all over again with another post.

sorry about the confused response tsp – but it works a treat, particularly with the featured pic, which I can always change as well
