Structure theme featured image/post duplicated (with CSS upgrade)
-
Hi do i resolve this issue:
– i would want the featured post/image not to duplicate in the homepage post area.
– i’ve already purchased a CSS upgrade
– i’ve tried to do this…
#homepagethumb {display:none}
– but this entirely erased all the thumbnails in all of the posts. I wish to remove just first image, not all of the thumbnails in the homepage post area…how do i solve this? please help…

Hello there,
Be sure to read this article before starting your editing > http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/Also note that CSS is theme specific here at wordpress.com, there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little Volunteer support, so please be patient while waiting for Volunteer support.

I assume you want to remove the second occurence, the one in the regular post section rather than the featured post area at the top. There is one way to do this with CSS but it will only work in newer browsers as you can see here. This is the code:
.homepagemid div:nth-child(-n+2) {display:none;}
