Struggling to change my administration email

  Hey guys,
  I’m trying to update my administration email but when I do this, it just ‘There is a pending change’ and that it is waiting for me to respond to the confirmation email, but it never sends one through.
  My email address is definitely working because when I changed my account email address it sent a confirmation through immediately

  But that doesn’t update it on my actual site

  Any help would be greatly appreciated

  HI there,

  Are you speaking of your WordPress.com account email, which is set at https://wordpress.com/me/account/?

  I don’t see any pending email updates for this account.

  If you’re seeing a notice at that link to verify, try logging out, clearing your browser cache, and logging back in, and check if that makes it go away.

  Hi,

  I am having the same issue as you.

  I am not able to update my admin email and seeing the message, “There is a pending change”

  Can you please guide me on how to resolve this issue.

  therightcandidateuk – Which site are you trying to update? Make sure you are checking for the confirmation email to the old address approving the change.

  I spoke to the owner of the old address and they said they haven’t received any emails.

  I’m afraid that the site therightcandidate.co.uk, is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
