Struggling to get support

    Hi there, I am receiving endless email notifications from Lavender and Lovage. Regardless of which blog has been updated, and even when requesting support the emails come from Lavender and Lovage. The last support emails have come to a close as I can no longer find the thread – the link in my email doesn’t take me there. I was asked to upload a screenshot to my media library to describe the problem and have done so but told it is not there.
    I am now utterly confused – would love to actually talk to someone!

    Clicking on the word Member under your name shows that this is the only post you’ve ever made in the support forum. You must be talking about a completely different username and account, in which case the screenshot is in a different blog.

    Hi there and thanks for your reply. My initial query was made as a private one to the support team but I wondered if opening it up might help, perhaps others have had the same problem. It’s weird – I subscribe to several blogs and the notifications always come from Lavender and Lovage (which is one of them). But even the WordPress Support notifications were coming from Lavender and Lovage too! I may just leave it if there is no easy solution, but I have a similar issue with LinkedIn where all my notifications come from an ex-colleague! All this started when I got a new laptop with Windows 8.1, very puzzling. Thanks for getting in touch.

    Okay, can you give us the actual URL of the blog the notifications are coming from, starting with http? I’ll flag this for staff attention.

    That is not even a blog that is hosted by WordPress.com. I’m afraid it has nothing whatsoever to do with the WP.com system; it is a WordPress.ORG site. I do think the problem lies with your computer, rather than with WP.com.

    How very strange – will have to live with it I guess, means I miss quite a lot of notifications so just have to be vigilant – thanks anyway!
