Struggling to make payment – lost my theme

    Hi there, Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the annual renewal payment recently for my wordpress subscription, but managed to pay for the domain.

    Since this happened unfortunately it means I have also lost my theme etc… and my homepage has been reset to a default theme page with all the content lost.

    Of course the site is still live and I’m just a little concerned this may affect my clients/ potential customers until I can make the payment which has been a struggle recently due to finances.

    If I can make the payment soon will I be able to return my site and theme to the one I had created with ease?

    Hi there!

    Yes, you’ll be able to activate the previous theme (Byrne) after upgrading to the WordPress.com Explorer plan again. None of your site content (such as posts, media files, etc.) is lost, but the theme and its customization (along with features available with the WordPress.com Explorer plan) were removed.

    When you’re ready, you can upgrade to the Explorer plan again:
