Struggling to retrieve expired domains

  Hi,

  How are you?

  Thank you in advance for your time as you assist me.

  I have two registered domains that expired on the 11th of September- lukeinglisband.com and lukeinglismusic.com

  I would really like to continue to use these and apologize fpr being late in renewing these.

  I’ve tried renewing these but can’t seem to work out how even after reading your handy hints posted at WordPress.

  Can you please assist me with this?

  Hi Andrew,

  That’s not a problem. If you click at the link below, you’ll see all of your products listed. Just click the Renew Now button and you’ll be on your way:

  https://lukeinglis.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

  But please do so now as the domains will eventually slip in to redemption, which costs quite a bit more (there is a late fee involved which is charged by the registry).

  Hi,

  There is no “Renew Now” Button. This has been my challenge. It gives no option to renew.

  Which domain are you trying to renew, and which username or email address are you using to log in to WordPress.com when you go to renew your domain? I’ll look in to this for you. :)

  This is a website I set up for a buddy of mine, I may have given him his own login now, but he rarely manages it, hence why it expired.

  That’s going to be the problem. Only the owner of the domain (the person who purchased it) can renew it. If you still know the username and password, you can log in and renew it. If only that friend has access, maybe you can walk them through getting access so they can put through the renewal? In either case, since they’re the owners, only they can do the renewal.
