Struggling to set up site

  I want a static home page and to add more pages with content. Every time I try to create a new page it does not appear at the top of my site alongside “Home”.
  Also, when I view my site the blog item does not appear.
  Really confused and so far dissatisfied with WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi markbickerton,

  You have a static page for your website. To create a blog, you need to create a new page “Blog,” and adjust your homepage settings.

  Set the Homepage

  If you want to publish a new post, it’s better to add any category, so that you can display those categories in your menu along with “Home.”

  in addition to what @ravichahar said
  If you want new pages to appear on menu section of your site
  Visit
  My Sites > Wp-admin > Appreaces > Menu > Tick Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu
