Struggling with Dashboard b/c ‘primary site’ does not exist.

Hi, can someone help me please?

This all started with me attempting to setup the WordPress MacOS app (I want to write posts while offline and publish them when I have connection) and finding out that my wordpress.com account has a domain set as my ‘primary site’ that doesn’t exist anymore. I cannot figure out how to change or fix this since all links (including Jetpack) give me the same error: ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’ with a link to the wp-admin domain that does not exist….

I can’t even use the ‘schedule support’ option b/c of this problem.

Can someone help me change the ‘primary site’? Or whatever needs to happen to make the dashboard usable?

I’m a bit noob to all this.

Nevermind. I found the option to select a primary site in account settings. That fixed everything.

  • Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?

We may need to retrace some steps and take a closer look at what’s happening here.

    Many thanks.
