Struggling With Site Design

Hi, I’m struggling with the minute details of the site’s design.
I want to get rid of certain useless tabs, but I’m struggling to do so without throwing the pages out of wack. Also the redirects to certain pages bother me. Clicking on the banner gets people to where I want them to go, but clicking to home goes to my old static homepage (at the very least I’d like to list it as an “about” page).
I’m struggling majorly and I’m now paranoid to do any work without accidentally deleting a bunch of things. I’d really like some help on this end, so I can feel more confident in advertising my blog.

Are your trying to get the same page on clicking the home button that comes when the banner also get clicked?
If you are trying to do the same then you can delete the home item you are having now and create a custom link with having # in the URL section.Hope this helps.
