struggling with the website

I deleted heathergatens.wordpress.com in order to create the site again and start fresh, but it isn’t letting me use that web name again even though when I try to visit the site it says it’s gone… when I deleted it originally I was under the impression that once I deleted the name anyone could use it again (aka me) to create a new site! This website is extremely confusing and it’s difficult to get anything accomplished!!

The authors have deleted this site.
You were warned and agreed to the deleting a site was gone forever – there were several warnings and an email you needed to click on a link – all saying that blog names are never recycled here, even to the original owner
You will need to pick a new name
