Stuck on "Adding your domain"

  I’m trying to create a new blog with an account I’ve had for ages. It works fine up until step three, after selecting a theme and URL. Then I get the screen that says “Almost done!” and “Adding your domain” where it stays stuck. (Pic for clarification: http://i58.tinypic.com/2i10b3d.png)

  I’ve tried this several times in two different browsers, gave it half an hour each time, it just does nothing.

  And I’ve just remembered that I tried to create a blog on this account over a year ago and gave up because I had the exact same problem.

  Hi there!

  Please try creating that new blog again, and let me know if you run into any further trouble with it. We are making some changes to the signup process, and I can keep investigating that for you if it gets stuck again.

  If you do run into more trouble with it, please let me know if you’re signing up for a blog with a free .wordpress.com address or if you are trying to create a new blog with a custom domain name. That will help me investigate. :)

  Hi i have chosen a custom domain name and facing same problem. My site creation is stuck at adding your domain. tried many times but no success

  Hi bhaveshbang,

  You can add a custom domain name to your existing sites from the Domains page. If that still doesn’t work for you, please let me know what domain name you’re trying to add and I can investigate that for you. :)

  Im also trying to create a blog and Im having the same issue as simscribe, were i`m getting stuck in the “Almost done!” and “Adding your domain” page, how can it be fixed?
