Stuck on "crunching"

  I have tried multiple times to upload a picture today and after it is uploaded, it is stuck “crunching.”
  I am using Chrome at home, I have cleared the cache and rebooted, with no success.

  It looks like Chrome has more than its fair share of problems using WordPress Blogs. I wonder why? Is it because WP is competing with Blogger?

  Politics aside, have you tried using Firefox or SeaMonkey? I am using these two and they work fine on my Windows XP system I have the most slowest system on this planet so if it works for me, it should work for everybody.

  Google released the newest version of its Chrome 18 at the end of March and there are known issues with it. I’m on XP and using Firefox 11 and experiencing no issues like this one or the others. If you want to try Firefox go here http://browsehappy.com

  tried Firefox, and it’s still “crunching” as I type this! :-(

  OK then this must be the format issue of the pictures. What is the format? gif, jpg,,png etc? BMP is not allowed here.

  Please provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question.
  Please verify whether or not you have read thr troubleshooting images tips.
  Why? Because every day we find people trying to uplaod images that aren’t accepted file types or that are HUGE.

  Also, is there anyway you could post the picture (sanitized of course) on flickr or screencast or somewhere and post a link here.

  Just want to know if the picture is corrupted.
