Stuck trying to complete blog

  Hi there everyone
  Wow this is all confusing so please excuse my ignorance!!
  I have created a blog, but I am unable to see how I find blog mapping to take wordpress out of my url??
  I ideally want my blog to have my websites url with the /blog at the end. which I see many website do, but I seem to be missing something somewhere only I can’t do it!!
  So sorry but I am having a real doh! moment can some kind person point out where I am going wrong, no doubt it is simple, but heh I just can’t figure it where is the blog mapping to delete wordpress and just have my site url/blog ?
