Stuck with a custom header image

  Hi… in learning how to add a custom image to my theme, I added a photo just as a test. At the time I added it, I noted that there was an option to restore the default so I thought I was okay. However, AFTER I added the image, there is no way that I can find to restore the default. I even changed the theme completely and then went back to my real one but the image is still there. Any ideas?

  On the header import page, there should be a button there to restore the original image – at least there is on most themes. I just set my test blog to spectrum and the button is there at appearance > header.

  Thank you. Yes, the button is there but when I clicked on it and okayed it, it did not remove the image. But I managed to change it to an image I like so will leave it at that.

  Hmmm, that is interesting. I inserted a header and then returned to the original (no header) by clicking the button.

  Did you click the “save changes” button after clicking the restore original header button?
