Stumble upon question….

Talking to my husband today, i mentioned that my site was getting stumble upon hits, and he asked me “can a person stumble his/her own posts”?
I never thought of doing this, and wonder if this is considered “proper blog etiquette”

Technically you can stumble your own posts from time to time but not frequently. If you start up doing this frequently you will risk being either ghost banned or actually banned.Occasionally submit your own content or have a friend submit it for you, but in moderation.
Stumbleupon is meant to be used to discover and share new sites. It’s not meant to be used by groups of friends who keep giving thumbs up to every post that’s published on the same sites over and over again. I won’t do it. It just doesn’t feel “right” to me – so I’ll be happy with the occasional flow of visitors from someone else doing it. Sometimes I wish I could know WHO is stumbling my site, but… not knowing is also interesting. Heck, I can always dream it’s Jonny Depp… ;-)
