stupid AI cant help me…i am a paying wordpress.com customer and have lost acce

i need support from a real human to recover a lost wordpress.com biling, sites, history information.
the AI cant seem to help me…it just keeps saying i need to be a paying customer to do this…trouble is, I am a paying customer!!!!

Struggling with EXACTLY the same problem. Just thought I’d let you know that you’re not alone because I’m beside myself with the circular bot-based rat-trap of trying to get help. ‘Sorry but you need to be paying customer to get a human’ – I am a paying customer, I just can’t log into my site to prove it. And there’s nowhere to go but this forum where 1 out of every 20 messages gets replied to. So good luck.

And *just* as I hit send on that I got a reply on email. Try help@wordpress.com and just keep emailing them. (Also I’m using my husband’s account because I couldn’t even sign into forums that’s how no access I currently have.)

for sure its the most ridiculous situation i have ever found myself in online…honestly, if i had known that i could loose all of my flaming financials history for a wordpress.com website, there is no way in hell i would have paid for this platform i would have stuck with my original web host. I only moved here because i wanted to make it easy for my wife…a one place does it all kinda thing….big mistake.
At least with a CPanel account, there is a backdoor back in and its highly unlikely to also loose your own hosting account sites, financials and billing history.
This is unbelievable.

like to add to the stupidity that im facing…i can log into my website backend…however, as soon as i go to users from my account login, i get a white screen with an error saying i dont have any sites yet.
thing is, if i log in using my wifes login, it shows my user…but it appears to be a sligthly different username.
somehow i appear to have two wordpress.com profiles and now my browsers are completely confused as to which one is the real one (as am i). I havent a clue how this happened other than its dug up an old profile from somewhere and now im trapped in a loop i cant get out of.

This sounds like literal hell. I am so so sorry. I really hope you get some customer service from them. I’m genuinely starting to long for the days with ticket numbers. At least there was some indication that someone was paying attention. Try the email as well. It might be quicker than the forum. I’m still waiting for a follow on but I’m hopeful now at least.

you know whats worse…
after a little investigating, i have now worked out that my business wordpress.com account was deleted (despite it having my active website still running on it)
I paid $1900 AUD 2 days ago for that account via paypal. I have submitted the paypal transaction id, however, dead set, it was a flaming nightmare to get the wordpress system to even accept the transaction ID from Paypal. Its not a simple task to sort this, im going to blow up if i loose my $1900!!!
Im hoping that worst case scenario, i can go to paypal and have them reverse the transaction…i have little faith that wordpress will sort this given it was so easy for my entire 2 day old account to get wiped in the first place.

For me https://littleaussieshacks.com.au/ is up and running and that is running on the wordpress.com platform. However you created the account adamjedgardd5c532775 only 1 hour ago, it’s obvious that site is connected to another account of yours. What do you think of https://wordpress.com/forums/users/adamjedgar/?
As on every hosting platform, a site is always connected to 1 certain account.
So log out from current adamjedgardd5c532775 and log in again using the username adamjedgar … et voila the solution is that simple

no that isnt correct…it needs ro direct me ro the new proofile i setup 2 days ago….thats the one that holds all of my financials, domain hosting, etc.
Prior to 2 days ago, ive never purchased hosting with wordpress.com.
it just keeps reverting me back to an old free 2012 user account where none of those details exist…nor is my current wesite there under sites.

you know what i am also miffed about…i cant even edit my posts here! That is absurd…its hopeless trying to post here from my phone, i make heaps of typos, cant see the screen properly (because it doesnt align properly on my brand new samsung S25 Ultra) and here we are with my above post uneditable.
I dont have a lot of faith in this platform to be honest…its clearly run by indian taxi drivers and here in my country, they have a terrible reputation.

the above image explains at least part of my problem…i cant log in with the account that i have attached to my google account with which i accessed my financials, sites etc on wordpress.com.
Its like now i have 3 wordpress accounts, and the one i need to actually use is deleted.

what the worst of this is, i have a paid account…i paid almost $2000 dollars for it.
Because i cant login to my paid account, when i attempt to get direct help from wordpress.com support (which is supposed to be 24/7), i instead get a fucking AI response that basically says “youre not a paying customer, fuck off” and use the forums.
So here i am as frustrated as hell and time wasting on a basket case support structure that hasnt been setup properly. I mean honestly, whoever set this up like this is a bloody imbecile…as dumb as nuts!
I think my simplest solution is to go back to paypal, lodge a complaint, reverse the $1900 AUD i paid and go back to my old webhosting platform.

I investigated further on the details you shared.
I see that you had changed the username of your WordPress.com account from “adamjedgar3d2700c341” about 3 days ago, which is why the login form says the account is closed.
Kindly login to your WordPress.com account using the new username you set for your account. If you don’t remember the username, try using the email address.
