Stupid Sidebar questions

  1. How do I get the sidebar to show up on my homepage?
  2. How do I change the text of the “About Me” section to color #9400d3?

  I keep trying, but I cannot figure it out.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted at Bluehost.

  We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.
