Style Attributes for Portfolio Shortcode

  I’m assuming the Portfolio shortcode is extremely limited for what sort of stylistic attributes/properties I can apply, WordPress Support told me to ask the CSS Wizards though so here I am.

  1. What can I do as far as adding an overlay on the thumbnails, changing the Font/Color/Alignment of the portfolio titles, etc.

  2. ALSO, is it possible to have the shortcode display the Type but not actually the word ‘Types:’…for example, “Types: Furniture” would simply read “Furniture”. As you can see I currently have it set to ‘display_types=false’
