  i was working on my responsive full width child theme footer.php, so i was meant to past some codes in the footer.php, and i mistakenly past it in my style.css and unknowingly updated it and everything look scattered, really like to get my style.css back……………………..please i need ur help urgently

  You are posting in the wrong WordPress forum. We here on wp.COM cannot answer wp.ORG questions. We cannot access php files.

  If you don’t have a backup version of your previous style.css file saved, you may simply have to backtrack and fix it manually bit by bit.

  You might try checking with your web host to see if they have backups if you didn’t keep one yourself.

  Note that if you switched to WordPress.com, we have saved CSS revisions built in! :)
