Styles are failing to render on some pages

I am using a basic theme with the WordPress blog free option. Recently some pages are failing to render any styles, and give only plain HTML results. I have tried this on two different Mac browsers (Firefox and Chrome), with similar results. Reloading and clearing cache/cookies does not solve the issue.
Even in the admin dashboard, styles sometimes fail. Further, the Themes page will not show preview images, and some styles do not render properly. Finally, I am unable to activate any new themes at all.

I can see your website(trulyunpopular.wordpress.com) perfectly and the pages load fine for me.
On the front page, some of the posts don’t have images. The theme Apostrophe 2 expects a Featured Image for each post so that it can display the post in an Image Grid format.
There seems to be an issue with your browser. The first step to resolving that is to clear browser cache and cookies. As it didn’t work out for you, could you try the other steps-

If all the above doesn’t work, please try switching to another browser to check if it works?
