  I am referring to my blog https://xcogitations.wordpress.com

  For writing X index 2, I need to write X² But, ^{stands for super, above, the power of… but it writes it indexed}

  And in reverse For writing Y by the power of 5, I need to write Y₅ But, _{stands for sub(mersed)… for indexed and not the power of.}

  I noticed that when I transferred text from PC bound writers to WP editor.

  Would be good if you could fix this. I have not tried it in other themes.
