sub-domain mapping, confused, stuck..
-
Hi,
I have a wordpress.com blog & just purchased the premium plan so i can use my own domain.I wish to use a blog.domain.com sub-domain for the wordpress blog while http://www.domain.com remains pointing to my main website.
I added CNAME sub-domain successfully as described in the support docs [http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/]
I added my domain to wordpress’ “my domains” tool, however I think i should have typed the subdomain here instead of the full domain. Now I don’t see a way to change it & if i try again with the sub-domain its asking me to pay again.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Although tokyoflash.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. To learn about how to correctly map an existing domain, please see our documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain
Does reading that entry I linked to above help?
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYour name servers are as follows:
NS-749.AWSDNS-29.NET
NS-404.AWSDNS-50.COM
NS-1566.AWSDNS-03.CO.UK
NS-1389.AWSDNS-45.ORG
If you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above. It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at tokyoflash.com, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.

I am not sure I should do that – note that the domain has lots of existing DNS records for other sub domains etc. if i change the NS then i need to set up all these on wordpress servers
I simply want to use blog.tokyoflash.com to point to tokyoflashjapan.wordpress.com

The sub-domain article http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/ says I should not change Name servers.
Add a CNAME record through the registrar where you purchased your domain or through your DNS provider. You should NOT change your Name Server information if you wish to only map a subdomain.
I think I have followed the steps correctly however I made the fatal mistake of typing domain instead of sub-domain in the mapping & now I can’t seem to correct that.
The actual blog is http://tokyoflashjapan.wordpress.com but its now inaccessible.
