sub domain or new domain?

    I need either two sub domains or two separate domains that will have WP on them. I’m verifying details to determine, What I actually need. I already have 2 domains on WP.com while only paying for the domain mapping service a yr currently. I also, use a private host for these current domains. I have already read your sub domain and domain mapping help pages at least a couple times. I have special needs and because of it, need clarity and verification more then some. Now knowing these things. Here are my questions to start with 1. Can I add outside links on a sub domain on wp.com? 2. my current domains have more then 1 theme downloaded. Can I use Any of those domain wp themes on my potential sub domains? 3. Your help pages say you don’t support sub domains. What does that mean? 4. I’m getting mixed advice. Some places/people say having a sub domain on WP and other popular blogging platforms have little to no point. Others say I need a sub domain. Not new domains. Is there really little to no benefit for a sub domain off of WP blogs? If yes, why? If not, why would some say this? 5. My host is Site Ground. A Site Ground customer tech support person said I need to register my sub domain with you. Why? Wouldn’t that be paying for double hosting each year? What is the benefit of that? Your help pages even said a small percentage of people register sub domains with you, who already have another host.
