Sub-menus Not Working on Mobile Device

    Hello,

We have a serious issue that I can’t find a fix for.

Sub-menus were working on all mobile devices last time I checked, but they’re now not working on some Samsung phones and tablets running Android 14 or 15 (I’ve tested three Samsung different devices and different browsers). I’ve tried changing the URL to # in Appearance, and also tried about two dozen other fixes suggested by an Android Product Expert on the Android forum, but when I mentioned to the expert that I’d noticed the word MENU was off-centre he said that this was the underlying issue.

His final verdict is, “It is 100% a bug in the website’s CSS code that specifically breaks on Samsung aspect ratios. You would actually be doing them a favour by letting them know that the mobile menu is broken on Samsung Android 14/15 devices—the sub-menu arrows/chevrons are missing!”

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it’s for a charity I volunteer for, and I have no expertise in how to fix this.

    Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

We can’t help as that site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://tera-charity.ngo

A good starting point is contacting support of the Radcliffe 2 theme you are using – https://wordpress.org/support/theme/radcliffe/

Thank you so much for replying.

My apologies, I was directed here by Anders Noren, and the website address is wordpress.com, so I thought I was in the correct place. I clicked on the link you gave, and it takes me directly to (ironically) the page where my original query is still at the top of the help threads.

So I don’t understand where I should be, as Mr Noren says I should be here but you say I should be there 😁

If someone could direct me to the correct place to get help, I’d be forever grateful. Thank you so much.

    Just follow my instructions!

    Hi there,

I did but the second link you posted took me back to the forum where the developer said I was in the wrong place and sent me back here.

I’m not sure what I’m missing. Please would you be more explicit, as I’m not as young as I used to be. Thank you so much.

I’ve posted again on the thread where Anders Noren replied to say that you’ve referred me back to him. Hopefully he will say he’s made a mistake but he seemed to rule out his involvement with our website being Radcliffe 2. It’s very confusing. Thank you.

Sorry, that should read, “I’ve posted again on the thread where Anders Noren replied, to say that you’ve referred me back to him.” A comma in the correct place makes all the difference.

    Hi again @staartmees,

I’ve told Anders Noren that you’ve said I’m in the wrong place. His answer was:

“That’s a misunderstanding on the part of the user who replied to you on the WordPress.com forums. Like I wrote in the earlier reply, this support forum is for Radcliffe, which is completely different from Radcliffe 2, which is the theme you have installed and was built by WordPress.com. It’s an understandable mistake on part of the WordPress.com forum user though.

    — Anders”

    To everyone else:
I’m really confused and have no idea where I can obtain help for this issue. If anyone can point me in the correct direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
