sub pages and frustration
-
Hello everybody, I need help before I explode! im so frustrated!
My problem is this:
I want to have recipes on my blog, but everytime I make a page it HAS to be visible on the main menu! it will end up really ugly and cluttered if I cant find a solution, Id rather not use a widget or whatever they are called, just something simple, there has to be a way to fix this without some plug-ins.
for an example I have a link to a “recipe” page on my main menu, that is great, and in that page I have hyperlinks to other pages (sub pages of the Recipe page) called Breakfast lunch and dinner, Id rather not have them visible but its ok. Then there is the thing that pisses me right off! that the child page of the child page is visible in my main menu! annoying
It looks like this
-Recipes
-Breakfast
-Porridge
-Honey and cinnamon porridge
– blahblah porridge
– another porridge!
– MORE PORRIDGE AND MORE SUB PAGESand it will just go on and on and on if i add more pages! I know its something really simple but im not figuring it out!
HELP ME BEFORE I CRY! hahaha
sorry if I seem angry … i’ve been struggling with this for a few hours now and im desperate!
thanks

I’m not seeing this on http://killthecupcake.wordpress.com/. Did you solve the issue or remove the menu?

hi , i just gave up haha but if you have an answer it would be awesome. “menu” should be to the right it says “um mig” and “uppskriftir”

If you would like to set it back up again, I can look into it. Otherwise, it’s is a little hard to troubleshoot.

I really think you need posts, not pages, and categories, and a custom menu. This is used by thousands of people and it works really well. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/
