Sub Pages are only in Sidebar?

I have a parent page with pages underneath it. I would like to be able to click on the Parent page tab – (Contracts, The Benefits of Advertising with JMI) and see the sub-pages inside the parent page, rather than only in the sidebar. From reading other forum threads, I see that this may be a theme-specific issue. If so, any suggestions on a three column theme that will show sub-pages in the content of a parent page would be greatly appreciated!

There are no themes here at wordpress.COM that show subpages in the top navigation tabs. There is a way to add it via the paid CSS upgrade, but it is quite complex and requires knowledge of CSS and experience editing it.

The only themes that automatically create links to subpages in a parent page are Fauna, Misty Look, Redoable Lite & Regulus. In all other themes you’ll have to write those links yourself.

I don’t need to show it in a navigation tab. What I am shooting for is – when you click on one of those page tabs – for example – Contracts- in the content of the page itself would be any sub pages – such as Knoxville contract.
I guess I do not understand the reason for having sub-pages vs. parent pages if the subpages do not appear any differently when you choose the parent page. They are in the same place on the sidebar whether I am on the home page or the parent page.

    I appreciate your help.

You can exclude the child pages from appearing in the pages widget. Then write links to the child pages on the parent page.
Some themes, Blix for example, display pages in the pages widget with deeper indents for child (and child of child) pages.
