sub pages on menu in Manifest
-
Hey –
I keep trying different things out and have checked that I use a theme (Manifest) that supports “custom menus”. It says I can use one menu with Manifest?
On my ‘gallery’ page I need two sub pages that host two different sets of photographs. I have created these to sub pages and have made ‘gallery’ their parent but they won’t show up on my site….. http://theartpartyexperts.com/I’m sorry to be a pain but can someone just explain really basically where I am going wrong,
Thanks

If you have created the custom menu, did you select that custom menu in the primary pulldown in the theme locations module at upper left on the custom menu page?

One other thing I’ll mention because this can be a misunderstanding is that home, about, gallery, etc. are all menu items and the whole collection is the menu. You can have as many menu items as are practical.

Thanks so much for your help…I finally cracked it. It’s kinda obvious when you grasp it but a bit confusing before you do!

Yes, the custom menu stuff needs a little rework as it does seem to confuse many. Not as straight forward as it could be based on that fact.
