Sub url mapping with wordpress.com

We have a site with lot of active development and api, forms, etc. we wants news to be in wordpress.com inside a sub url. like insureka.com/news . is this possible?
if possible, how to customize styling to look like one site?
if not, are there RESTFUL api’s so we use wordpress.com as CMS only?WP.com: Unknown

Hi there,
On WordPress.com we support mapping your site to a subdomain, like news.insureka.com, but we don’t support mapping to subdirectories like insureka.com/news. Mapping your site to a subdomain requires our Pro plan:

We do have a REST API. You can find the documentation for that at https://developer.wordpress.com/docs/api/.
However, I don’t know if our API is sufficient for using WordPress.com as a headless CMS, the way you can do with the open source version made on WordPress.org. This also isn’t something for which we can provide support, in other words, while you’re more than welcome to try, our support team won’t be able to help should you run into any issues.
So for this type of advanced custom development using the open source version of WordPress at a non-managed host like Bluehost will likely be the better option for you.
