subcategories – making the front page show a selection portfolio categories

  is my website. I’m currently trying to make the front page show portfolio categories only.

  for example you could click something called

  “city maps”

  and it shows = http://markandrewwebber.com/?works=city_maps

  just the selected portfolio projects… It works in the navigation bar.. but I can not seem to make something like this work on the front page…

  I thought I might be able to make some portfolio pages and title them with the portfolio categories I would like. Then I thought I Would be able to deselect what portfolio would show up on the front page.. so then I could have a kind of subcategory system. where the front page would just have links to groups of portfolio pages..

  eg

  City maps >
  berlin – new york – Amsterdam – Paris – London

  Photography>
  Costumes – Body

  Drawings >
  lines – lifedrawing

  Hi Mark,

  It looks like the blog you are having problems with is a self hosted blog, is that right?
